I had the same issue with my first child when I tried to wean him at six months. On my Paediatrician's advice, I only offered the bottle and if he didn't take it, did not feed him otherwise. It was very tough and took about a day, but it worked in the end. The Doctor pretty much described it as "starving" my son, but as I said, it did work. Peta
